Stratcom Signs SSA Data Sharing Accord with France

U.S. Strategic Command (Stratcom) and the French Ministry of Defense have signed an accord that will facilitate the sharing of space situational awareness (SSA) data between the two countries.

The  accord will enable Stratcom to provide data from the Joint Space Operations Center at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, directly to the French military upon request. In the past, such requests had to be approved at higher levels of the U.S. government.
