IDE International Drone Expo & Summit Barcelona

The 2nd edition of IDE International Drone Expo will be held from February 26 – March 01, 2018 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

The drone industry has a massive need for more mobile connectivity, and the market for UAV data needs is expected to grow dramatically over the next ten years. The data storage potential for drones is very high.
A single drone can capture gigabytes of data in a matter of minutes, but the ability to transmit that data is currently very limited.

IDE is the meeting platform for drone manufacturers, network operators and business users of drones from various sectors.

In the summit these stakeholders are exploring the possibilities of integrating mobile connectivity directly into drones and UAV base stations.

The target group of IDE attendees come from following industries:

agriculture, power utilities, industry inspection, transport & logisitics, car manufacturing, surveying & mapping, search & rescue, tv/video/film & photography and others.
