Cooperation for Global Spatial Data Infrastructure
PSMA Australia – an unlisted public company offering foundation national spatial information derived from the authoritative data sources of state, territory and Australian Governments – has just signed a letter of intent with a number of international organisations mapping out steps for closer cooperation at the 8th INSPIRE Conference in Aalborg Denmark. The international organisations concerned are: EuroGeographics, CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), and the Pan-American Institute for Geography and History (PAIGH). The collaboration will lead to an intercontinental agreement between the organisations with a key objective of contributing to the development of a practical global spatial data infrastructure. psma.com
