Russia to suspend American GPS stations
As of June 1, Russia is going to suspend the operation of American GPS stations on its territory. Back in 2012, Russia’s Space Agency had requested a permit from the US government to build several Russian GLONASS stations on US territory. So far, no agreement on that issue has been secured – and Moscow and Washington have until May 31 to negotiate.
