IAPP: New Co-Chair for the Rhine-Ruhr Chapter

We are pleased to announce that our partner Dr Matthias Lachenmann has been appointed Co-Chair for the Rhine-Ruhr Chapter by the International Association for Privacy and Data Protection (IAPP) for the years 2022/23.

KnowledgeNet Chapters bring the regional data protection community together through free educational meetings and networking activities. Through regular meetings, it is possible to meet and exchange ideas with other data protection professionals in the Rhine-Ruhr region. With the great team (Jutta Loewe, Guido Hansch, Dr Jan-Peter Ohrtmann, Jörg Thomas), the chapter is so strongly positioned to be able to organise various exciting events regionally in the coming years. We will take a closer look at national and international data protection issues and would like to provide support to practitioners.
