U.S.: New rules easing export restrictions for satellite technology

The U.S. government has finalized a draft of regulations that will change the US Space Technology export regime. Some satellite hardware/technology will be transferred from the U.S. Munitions List to the Commerce Control List, and therefore make it easier for U.S. firms to export space-related technologies. Those new rules are expected to go into effect in 6 months.
