Intersputnik negotiating Joint Ventures for unused orbital slots

As reported by Space News on June 2, 2014, Intersputnik is negotiating with several satellite fleet operators on joint ventures to use Intersputnik’s orbital slots and frequency reservations. In the past, Intersputnik has aleady joined forces with ABS (Bermuda) and Spacecom (Israel) to provide satellite bandwidth to Intersputnik members.

The new projects being assessed concern the provision of telecommuncations services in South Asia, West Africa and Latin America.
