The European Civil RPAS Operators’ Forum

The 2016 international RPAS CivOps conference focuses on the implementation of the European RPAS Roadmap and issues of particular importance to RPAS operators, e.g. national regulatory matters, insurance as well as privacy and data protection issues. Discussions among the panel will permit active interaction between speakers and the audience.

Speakers include representatives of the European Commission, NATO, national government authorities and various companies and organizations from around the globe. BHO Legal will be represented by Dr. Oliver Heinrich, speaking about the new German RPAS Regulation. The Regulation initiated by the German Federal Minister for Transportation aims to fully exploit the potential of recreational, as well as professional drone operation. Furthermore clarification of data protection and safety issues of operating drones shall be regulated and clarified through the new Regulation.
