Ms. Katrin Stopinski has been working as an Associate at BHO Legal since June 2026, specialising in IT law, data protection law and intellectual property law.

She studied law at the University of Bonn and gained practical experience immediately after passing the First State Examination as a Research Associate in the Intellectual Property and Dispute Resolution practice at Simmons & Simmons LLP.

Ms. Stopinski completed her legal traineeship in the district of the Higher Regional Court (Oberlandesgericht) of Cologne. During this time, she was assigned, among other placements, to the Federal Network Agency in the Telecommunications and Mobile Communications Division and to Heuking, Kühn, Lüer Wojtek, where she worked in the field of intellectual property law.

After passing the Second State Examination, Ms. Stopinski initially worked as an Associate at White & Case LLP in Frankfurt am Main before joining the legal department of OBI Group Holding. From 2024 to 2026, she served as Legal Counsel for IT and Digital, advising primarily on matters relating to IT contract law, data protection law and AI law.
