Mrs. Stephanie Buchmann has been working as an associate lawyer at BHO Legal since August 2026, specializing in intellectual property (IP) law. She studied law at the University of Bonn (Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn) and Université Paris-Sud (XI).

After completing her First State Examination in Law, she worked as a research assistant in the Corporate/M&A practice group at Heuking, focusing on Legal Tech and Knowledge Management. She subsequently worked as a research assistant at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Law at the University of Bonn and taught tutorials in General Administrative Law as well as Environmental and Nature Conservation Law for students enrolled in the Master’s programme in Nature Conservation and Landscape Ecology.

She completed her legal traineeship in the district of the Cologne Higher Regional Court, with placements including the “Space Agency, National Space Programme and Space Security” division of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, as well as the Public Commercial Law practice at GÖRG. Ms Buchmann completed her elective placement at BHO Legal.
