Maître Oliver Heinrich est l’un des associés fondateurs du cabinet BHO Legal. Il a étudié le droit allemand et anglo-américain aux universités de Trèves et de Cologne et a ensuite soutenu sa thèse de doctorat à l’Institut allemand de droit aérien et spatial de Cologne, sous la direction du professeur Dr Hobe, sur la systématique nationale et européenne de la promotion de la recherche, incluant les questions relatives aux aides d’État et aux marchés publics. Ses clients sont des institutions publiques, des entreprises moyennes et des groupes internationaux. En 2012, il a développé le département de conseil en droit aérien du cabinet concernant l’utilisation des drones et a notamment conseillé sur de grands projets d’acquisition de drones militaires. Maître Heinrich se distingue par de nombreuses publications et conférences sur le droit des marchés publics, la responsabilité dans l’utilisation du GNSS et les questions nationales et internationales de droit aérien liées à l’utilisation des drones.

Avant de devenir avocat, Dr Heinrich a travaillé de 2005 à 2007 comme chef de projet pour le projet européen de navigation par satellite Galileo au DLR. Il a également été fondé de pouvoir d’une entreprise commune du DLR, T-Systems et EADS Astrium (aujourd’hui Airbus Defence & Space) et de la LfA Förderbank Bayern ainsi que conseiller du consortium d’offre international pour la concession Galileo. Il dispose ainsi d’une vaste expérience concernant les multiples défis posés par les grands projets technologiques internationaux.

M. Heinrich entretient un réseau étroit avec des entreprises, des autorités nationales et internationales et des institutions publiques en rapport avec les véhicules aériens sans pilote et de grands projets spatiaux. En tant qu’ancien étudiant-assistant et doctorant à l’Institut de droit aérien et spatial le plus ancien au monde à Cologne, son lien avec la recherche universitaire dans ce domaine reste actif. Il soutient l’association UAV DACH en tant que responsable du conseil consultatif juridique et est également membre du Conseil consultatif national sur les drones du Ministère fédéral du numérique et des transports.

En 2020, Maître Heinrich a été classé parmi les 100 meilleurs avocats d’Allemagne et, de 2020 à 2022, parmi les avocats leaders en droit européen et international dans le classement établi par kanzleimonitor.de. En outre, il est cité dans le Who is Who Legal 2021 – Transport comme personnalité majeure dans le domaine des systèmes aériens sans pilote et comme key practitioner pour les procédures d’adjudication.
