The study provides an evidence-based analysis to inform the stakeholders involved in the current discussions on the future EU space programme. The study investigates potential alternative options to the current data policy and looks at their respective legal, technical, economic and strategic impacts. Its result clearly support the continuation of the full, free and open data policy for Copernicus.
