October 2017 the panel <em>Space traffic management \u2013 Where are the gaps in STM policy and how are they being addressed?<\/em> was moderated by BHO Legal partner Oliver Heinrich. The speakers \u2013 <em>Rolf Densing<\/em>, Director of Operations and Head of European Space Operations Centre (ESOC); <em>Christian Arbinger<\/em>, Head of Navigation Services, DLR GfR mbH; <em>Marc Val\u00e8s<\/em>, Vice President Strategic Partnership, ArianeGroup; <em>Omar Vald\u00e9s Sol\u00f3rzano<\/em>, Market Development Officer, European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency \u2013 discussed about the current state of space traffic management and its growing importance for space activities in a naturally limited environment. During the discussion, one of the panellists, <em>Rolf Densing,<\/em> highlighted that for Europe to have a voice in the future negotiations on the creation of global space traffic regulation, it needs to have something to bring to the table.
