The incident occurred on 17 April 2016 at 12:50 BST.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesman, it was \u201ctotally unacceptable\u201d to fly drones \u2013 which are generally used to capture aerial film or photographs \u2013 close to airports.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Landells, from the British Airline Pilots Association (Balpa), emphasised that it had been \u201conly a matter of time before we had a drone strike\u201d.
