This policy is well in line with the government\u2019s goal to make publicly-owned data available on a free, full, and open basis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReleasing publicly held aerial imagery for reuse has the potential to create cost savings for the public sector and generate economic benefits for the private sector.
