Ioannis Giakoumelos, LL.M.

Mr. Ioannis Giakoumelos joined BHO Legal in September 2017 as a lawyer specializing in IT and e-commerce law as well as all contracts in funding law at national and EU level. He studied law at the University of Cologne. After his first state examination, he worked as a research assistant at the Institute for International and Foreign Private Law at the University of Cologne and at the law firm Oppenhoff & Partner. He then obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in transnational and European business law at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki.

He completed his legal clerkship at the German-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Athens and at the law firm Bridgehouse Law LLP in Atlanta. As a lawyer, Mr. Giakoumelos worked for the international law firm DLA Piper UK LLP in the areas of IT, telecommunications and data protection law. Since 2017, Mr. Giakoumelos has been an attorney with the law firm BHO Legal PartG mbB.
