These discrepancies include showcasing of Mathikettan Shola, a national park, as agricultural, the exclusion of human settlements, plantations and agricultural land from the Ecological Sensitive Areas, and the failure to identify ecological hot spots like Wagamon and Kuruva islands as protected areas.
