Dr. Philipp Leisten
Dr Leisten has a focus in contract law of various legal systems, insolvency law and product liability. In addition, he advises in export control law, corporate law and real estate law. He is also experienced in advising international investors in M&A transactions.
Dr. Leisten studied law at the Univerisities of Cologne and Lausanne, Switzerland. Following his bar exam he graduated with a Ph.D. at the University of Jena at the chair of Prof. Dr. Walter Bayer. The doctoral thesis dealt with corporate law and EU-law. He started his career as a lawyer at the international law firm Bird & Bird LLP in Munich and Frankfurt a.M. advising in corporate law, insolvency law and real estate law. He then took a position at a large DAX-listed company which is active in the energy sector.
